I have an excel file which has 12 worksheets. On every worksheet there is a
hyperlink to the same webpage (copywrite info). When the hyperlink is
activated the first time it returns to the original worksheet but if you
change to another worksheet it will always go back to the first one the was
opened.
Is there a way I can change where the hyperlink returns the user to in the
Excel file
Example
- open excel file and click on hyperlink on worksheet 3
- web page opens successfully
- press back button and return to original worksheet 3
- change to worksheet 6 and press hyperlink
- web page opens successfully
- press back button and return to excel but worksheet 3 is displayed (would
like to go back to worksheet 6)

Any ideas would be great.

Mr Spence, I have a Idea, you can do some Macros and atribute it to the
button Back, by example, if you are in the worksheet 6, do a macro to the
hyperlink 6, wich atribute to button "back" a macro to return to the
worksheet 6 and close the web page.

Win7 VirtualStore Weirdness with Excel 2002 and earlier Excel I thought I'd share a weird experience I had today in case it saves installer for it - - which registers it as an add-in for all installed versions of Excel - - and tested it. Fine in Windows 2000 in all installed versions of Excel. Boot to Windows XP, fine there too. Boot to Windows 7. Fine in Excel 2010, 2007, and 2003. But Excel 2002 and 2000 were still loading the old version of the add-in. I uninstalled the add-in, made sure it was gone, and reinstalled it. Same problem in Excel 2002 and earlier; still works fine in Excel 2003 and later. I opened the VB editor in Excel 2003 and in Excel 2002

How to strore exact double from macro into Excel cell? Excel I know this is "stoopid" because I am sure I have done this before with today - - with the stars, sun, moon and earth aligned such as they are - - the following macro is not doing what I expect. What am I doing wrong? Sub doit() Dim x see i = 0 above), not the 18 different binary representations that I generate in the macro. (C1 is the formula = dbl2dec(B1), which is copied down through C18.) As a double know that I can work around the problem by changing the cell assignment in the macro to: Cells(1 + i + 9, 2).Formula = " = 0.28 + (" & i & ")* 2 ^ -54" But why cannot work as expected. So perhaps my question is: why does not this work using a macro? And more to the point: how do I make it work using a macro, other than storing a formula into the cell? - -- -- Excel Programming Discussions Microsoft Excel (1) Office
Very Slow reading excel data into an array (while opened in new xl Excel I have a VBA application that reads in many excel files (sometimes in the 100's), one at a time, scans them for key info the first one: ReadNewContract below. After about the 150th file (each usually under 40k), the macro started coming to a crawl and I noticed in Task Manager that Excel was using more and more memory (pushing 100MB). Excel was not releasing the files out of VBA Project. In a post from Tom Ogilvy of the memory issue but it dramatically increased the time it took to import the excel data worksheet into an array I could use. In the original code, I read the excel file
32 bit DLL with 64 bit Excel 2010 Excel We have an app which creates large Excel workbooks. For example, one workbook has 1, 000 worksheets. In other cases there are fewer worksheets but the Excel file can be 80 MB or larger. Since this sometimes crashes Excel 2007 and 2003, I am considering using 64 bit Excel 2010. Would 64-bit Excel be more reliable with workbooks this size than 32-bit Excel? Is 32-bit Excel 2010 any more (or less) reliable with large workbooks than Excel
